    How to Set Up a BOGO Event

    Our BOGO discount promo allows you to get creative with your discounts and encourage your customers to make larger purchases.

    These simple steps will show you everything you need to know to set up a featured service promo:

    1. Log into your spaboom account
    2. Go to the Marketing tab
    3. Select Add Event
    4. Fill in an eye catching Headline
    5. Add a Narrative describing your promo, but don't worry about pricing details yet. We will add them in step 10
    6. Set the Start Date and End Date Your discount will be available for purchase on the start date and will no longer be available after the end date. If you’re having a weekend sale, for example, you could set the start date for the upcoming Friday and the end date for that Sunday.
    7. For the special type, select “Buy One, Get One” from the drop-down menu.
    8. In the Offer field, select "Create New Offer" or use an offer previously set up.
    9. If you have connected a Facebook or Twitter account to spaboom, you will have the option to send to social media. Fill that out as desired
    10. Click Save

    Add Events Offer

    If you opted to create a new offer, you will now be taken to the "Add Events Offer" page. An offer is a bonus gift certificate that is sent to the purchaser when the threshold is met. Follow these instructions to complete this step:

    1. Name your offer so its value is clear. e.g. "Bonus $25"
    2. Set the expiration. This defines when the promotional value expires. A typical expiration is 90 days from purchase date.
    3. Pick a design that you like for the offer.
    4. The For field appears on the gift certificate and informs its recipient of its value. e.g. "$25"
    5. Write a Message that expresses a simple sentiment. e.g. "Thank you for your purchase" or "Happy Holidays"
    6. Include any GC Terms you feel are appropriate. e.g. "Not valide with any other offer"
    7. Click Save

    How to Set Up a Percentage Discount Event

    Our percentage discount promo type allows you to easily boost your sales during special events or holiday seasons.

    These simple steps will show you everything you need to know to set up a featured service promo:

    1. Log into your spaboom account
    2. Go to the Marketing tab
    3. Select Add Event
    4. Fill in an eye catching Headline
    5. Add a Narrative describing your promo, but don't worry about pricing details yet. We will add them in step 10
    6. Set the Start Date and End Date Your discount will be available for purchase on the start date and will no longer be available after the end date. If you’re having a weekend sale, for example, you could set the start date for the upcoming Friday and the end date for that Sunday.
    7. The GC category can be set to All Occasions or to another fitting category
    8. The Special type will already be set to "Percentage Discount" by default
    9. For the special type, select “Percentage Discount” from the drop-down menu.
    10. Fill in the Discount field with the percentage amount that you want to be applied to all of your services and/or online gift certificates.
    11. If you have connected a Facebook or Twitter account to spaboom, you will have the option to send to social media. Fill that out as desired
    12. Click Save, and you are done

    How to Set Up a Featured Service Event

    Our featured services promo type allows you to highlight one or more services, and optionally discount them to optimize your gift certificate performance.

    These simple steps will show you everything you need to know to set up a featured service promo:

    1. Log into your spaboom account
    2. Go to the Marketing tab
    3. Select Add Event
    4. Fill in an eye catching Headline
    5. Add a Narrative describing your promo, but don't worry about pricing details yet. We will add them in step 10
    6. Set the Start Date and End Date Your discount will be available for purchase on the start date and will no longer be available after the end date. If you want a month-long event, for example, you can set the start date to the 1st and the end date to the last day of the month
    7. The GC category can be set to All Occasions or to another fitting category
    8. The Special type will already be set to "Featured Services" by default
    9. Select a service from the dropdown and then optionally you can give it a discounted price
    10. The Offer Description will automatically populate as soon as you click into the description field, but it can be adjusted if you'd like
    11. Repeat this step for additional services you'd like to feature. You can have up to five services in an event
    12. If you have connected a Facebook or Twitter account to spaboom, you will have the option to send to social media. Fill that out as desired
    13. Click Save, and you're done
